helping others 20% reflection

• I had accomplished on getting to know more about Regan by introducing my name and what grade I am. I asked some questions like what is his favorite thing to do, what is his favorite color, favorite movie or cartoons he likes to watch, favorite subject and mostly getting to know more about each other. I got all the answer from the help of the teachers aid or special aid teacher who is watching Regan when we came their. Well nothing has gone wrong right now but when we went their I saw him laying on his bed I don't know probably resting or tired but he woke up when the teachers aid called him that he has visitor. Me and my group mates need to create a slide show for Regan to watch and also to learn more educational purpose but we aren't yet finished with the slid show or movie maker. At first the challenges that I faced was how would I react to the special kids and how would they react around me. Knowing that probably they would bother me or do something towards me that will make me mad or frustrated. But as soon as I enter that door the welcoming and love that the children gave me, helped me realize that this special kids needed to be loved, understand and cared about. I am very  thankful that we had the chance to do this special project. Inter acting with this special kids thought me on how to understand them more and not to be afraid to be around them. We learned that Regan love to sleep, he hates the color brown, he hates it when people pinch his cheeks, he likes to color and count numbers, he loves to watch Elmos world and more. It helped me prepare and think ahead of time what is the best project or lesson I want the kid to know and learn. I think I am on track with the on-time delivery but it's is just my group and I aren't yet ready to show him the slide show or movie maker. I think what we need to adjust on the timeline is when we are going to go their and see him even though 20% project time or class time when were done with our work we need to go and check with him and follow up on his improvement. My next action is that we really need to improve in our conversation as a group we need to talk more about what kind of work we are going to give him aside of coloring and counting something that deals with math. We need to prepare for our video on what we are going to put in it.
